Record French participation at Environment Trade Fair in Abu Dhabi

The next Environment trade fair will be held from January 19th to 21st, 2009 in Abu Dhabi. This event’s 30,000 sq.m. exhibit area plans to welcome some 20,000 visitors. 450 exhibitors will be attending from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, Italy, India, etc.

Organised jointly by UBIFRANCE and the French Trade Mission in Dubai, the French pavilion will include 47 companies specialised in the fields of waste management (treatment, soil pollution control), water (drinking water supply, sanitation, network rehabilitation, sewage treatment), air quality (measurement, analysis and treatment) and renewable energy.

According to the French Institute for the Environment, French green companies are experiencing 5% annual growth. In 2006, these businesses posted sales of 42 billion euros and represented 255,000 jobs. In 2007, their growth was driven by the renewable energy and building insulation sectors, spurred by evolving environmental regulations: the number of patents submitted by France in the area of environmental technologies makes it this sector’s fourth most innovative country worldwide.

The French exhibitors at Environment Trade Fair in Abu Dhabi invite you to come and meet them at Hall 2, and discover their innovative products as well as their know-how in the domains of among others hazardous waste treatment, gas and liquid residue treatment, continuous household waste collection, effluent recycling, oily water pollution control and renewable energy engineering.
